Women's Networking Support Programme

Women's Networking Support Programme

The APC Women’s Networking Support Programme (APC WNSP) is both a programme within APC and a network of women throughout the world committed to using technology for women’s empowerment. It promotes gender equality in the design, development, implementation, access to and use of ICTs and in the policy decisions and frameworks that regulate them. The network numbers over 100 women from more than 35 countries. They are individual women and women’s groups and organisations working in the field of gender and ICT and actively supporting women’s networking. APC WNSP members have formed themselves into regional networks in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe and Latin America.

Style information: The full version of the programme takes capital letters. The abbreviated form is “APC WNSP” – “WNSP” is not to be used on its own. Use “women’s programme” as a synonym.
