UK study: 40% of victims of cyberstalking are men

USA

A study in the United Kingdom on the extent and effect of cyberstalking shows that cyberstalking is more common now than physical harassment.

The study by The National Centre for Cyberstalking Research at Bedford University looked at cyberstalking on social networking sites, email and mobile phones. Interestingly, victims of cyberstalking reported their harassers were complete strangers or casual acquaintances. What’s more shocking is that nearly 40% of cyberstalking victims are men.
