This section is a space where APC's staff, members and readers can open up conversations on topics that are of interest for the ICT community. It is a space where authors get to be themselves – sometimes to express opinions and challenge the readers on issues and topics that are close to them, sometimes to share their personal experience on an event or a current debate. APC's Women's Rights Programme was present at the fifty-eight session of the Commission on the Status of Women, taking place in New York on 10-21 March 2014.
On 20 February, APC submitted its input to the consultation on the NETmundial Initative (NMI) terms of reference. The input affirmed APC’s principled stance towards supporting inclusive, transparent and democratic spaces in internet governance working in the public interest.
